Although it follows most of the same game mechanics as Toadwater, Darktide (DT) is a completely separate land (technically it is not a separate server -- it is similar to a separate shard in other online multiplayer games). Darktide has considerably fewer rules than Toadwater and is, therefore, considered more hardcore.

The land of DT is a continent meaning 49 world squares. The 4 corner world squares are noob worlds. If you die in DT you are teleported to one of these 4 noob worlds -- which one appears random.

The northwest noob world, d5 c1 a1, is where all new players start.
