The Drought was a special event that happened March of 2010. On march first there was an announcement that some event had caused a drought and to watch for lowered forestry odds and hope for rain. forestry odds we cut in half and planting in ebp was no better than normal fertilizer. Later that day, farming odds were lowered also. Toadee said that Junior saw clouds coming and that he would send a letter to his friend in the north to see if he knew how to end the drought permanently. The first phase lasted a day, and odds were back to normal. One week later the second phase began and tree/crop planting odds were lowered. Toadee said that he needed to make a trip to his friend on NWI and needed Water-filled Pumpkins for the trip, later that day he said he almost had enough water and that he needed crystal toads, green rubies, and christmas tree seeds. The crystal toads were hard to get enough of, so a few days later Toadee said that his friend up north said if we got tiger moths and rotten wheat that could replace half the crystal toads. About a week later we Toadee said we should hurry, that his friend was very sick. Soon after we got all the supplies and he could teleport us to NWI in exchange for 10 water-filled pumpkins. At NWI there was Larry Stonecrush who was very sick and needed to be healed with purple herb that could be found around NWI. After he was healed he needed wolf bars, wolf ore came from the mines in the cavern on NWI. After the wolf bars he wanted Iron bars. After we got all the bars for him he layed them on the ground and we pounded them with a mallet to turn the metal into a giant magic cauldron, each person could only pound once, so we had to pm other players to come help us pound. Once that was finished Larry filled it with water and the drought was over. A while later every one who helped with the pounding of the cauldron got a blue lodestone.
