You must also be a member to harvest, or otherwise receive, and use items described here. Nonmembers, however, may transfer members-only items from/to ground hoards/inventory and sell them.

The Market is a collection of player-run stores.

It is similar to "looking to buy" want ads. Specifically, a member (member #1) can publish what item is wanted, how many of that item is wanted, and the offered price per item. If another member (member #2) has at least 1 of the items in inventory and likes the offered price, member #2 can sell the item to member #1 without paying tax on the transaction. As long as member #1 has space in inventory and enough gold, the transaction happens instantly (both members should refresh to ensure the transaction happened appropriately).

Only one item may be requested at a time in a player's store.

Setting Up Your Store

Input a "Store Name" of your choice, the "Item Name" meaning what you are looking to buy, the "Amount Desired" meaning the quantity of the item, the "Asking Price" meaning the amount of gold you are willing to pay per item. A "Store Image" of your choice is optional. You should be able to modify any of these fields if you are logged into the forums.

If you are sold an item, the amount desired automatically decreases by one. If you are sold more than one, the amount desired automatically decreases by how many you have been sold. Once your amount desired reaches 0, or if you set the amount desired to 0, your store will be removed from The Market.

Selling Items Via The Market

Click "The Market" button, read the instructions, then click "Display All Available Stores". You should see a list of players, the name of their respective stores, what they want to buy, and what they want to pay for each. Click on a player's name to visit their store.

Once in a store, you will see their amount desired, if another store is offering more for the same item, and if you have any of the item in inventory. Enter the number you would like to sell then click "Submit" -- there is no secondary confirmation so only do this if you are willing to exchange your item for the other player's gold.
