A Private Message (PM) is a standard method of private communication on forums, where you send a single message to an individual player, similar to an email.

If you want to talk to someone, this is usually the preferred method, as it gives the recipient a message when they log in that they have a PM, while a message just on the forum might not even be seen.

You can view your own personal messages by clicking on the link on top of the forum. (http://www.toadwater.com/index.php?action=pm)

To send a personal message, you can either use the link http://www.toadwater.com/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=[user id], replacing [user id] with the player's user ID number, or you can do it the simple way and go to their profile and click on their Online Status icon. (also viewable in the forums)
