South Winter Island

South Winter Island, abbreviated SWI, is reached using a wood duck.

The snow-covered tundra is the key place to trade items with another player as around the lake at the center of the island are ground hoards -- just about anything that can be put in a hoard can be traded this way.

Also ponderosa pines around the lake are useful for hitching passenger pigeons to when you would like to bring another player to a particular horse chestnut.

Other things to do on SWI include visiting Toadee McPerkins' house, north of the lake. Members should try chatting with Junior McPerkins.

Another tourist attraction is the mine in the northwest corner of the island. Be warned: your staff degrades when you walk in the mine.
