Wax workshop
From Toadwater Guide
Waxing
Sap is used to 'wax' items like planks and tools. In order to wax an item, you need to have 100 drops of one type of sap. Waxing an items increases its power (level) by the power of sap you use.
To wax items, select Actions then Wax Workshop (or press ctrl+a) to bring up the window. Wait a moment for it to load then you should see all of your sap that you have in your inventory on top, and all of the waxable items (planks and tools that are unwaxed) in your inventory on the bottom -- items cannot be waxed more than once.
Wax On
If you have an inventory slot available: select the sap you want to use, select the item you want to wax, then select the "Wax" button. You should now get a new item in your inventory with an asterix "* " at the beginning of its name indicating that it has been waxed (and the item should boosted by the level of the sap). For example, waxing a "Grade 1 Plank" with 100 drops of "Balsam Fir Sap" should yield a "* Grade 2 Plank". Note that a "* Grade 2 Plank" can be used as if it were a "Grade 2 Plank" but waxed/unwaxed items will not stack together.
Wax Off
Items cannot be unwaxed.
