The Forums
The forums of Toadwater can be found at Toadwater.com. They are the official means of communication between members of the community. There are many different forums with different topics but the forums also offers information and activities that can not be found in game. It serves as the home of the official governing body of Toadwater which is simply reffered to as The Government.
The Boards
- The Information Ministry
- This board is used by Admins and the Government to tell the players important messages about the game. Be sure to read new threads here! All players can see this board
- The The Green House and The Greener House are child boards here can only be viewed by current government officials.
- The Tavern
- This board is named after the player who holds the #1 rank ingame. Sometimes it is just the Toadwater Tavern. You should post anything that has to do with Toadwater in here. All players can see this board.
- The Shady Tree
- This is a child board of The Tavern. If you want to buy or sell anything in the world of Toadwater, this is the place. All players can see this board.
- The Padded Cell
- This board is for anything that is completely off the topic of Toadwater. BE WARNED Material in this board my not be suitable for some. All players can see this board.
- Game Support
- Post any support questions or concerns here. All players can see this board.
- Old Tavern Posts (Archive)
- This is an archive of all old posts from the Tavern. Any logged in player can read this thread but nobody can post to it.
- Government Discussion
- This is where much of the talk regarding the Government is done. Logged in players can see this
- Development Suggestions
- We love to hear your ideas on making this game better. Say them here but you must be level 50 or higher.
- Centivel Café
- This forum can be viewed by centivelians. There are no rules here really.
- Mount Olympus
- This forum can be viewed by current gods. Once again no specific rules apply.
Board Etiquette
- In brief, Be literate. Do your best to state your point clearly. One thing you will learn quickly in this game is the community is more well spoken than most. Emoticons and and phrases like "lol" are accepted. Anything resembling "leet speak" or other types of typing that come off as lazy or unintelligent would be best left out. Some of the features of Toadwater can only be accessed through the forums. These are perhaps some of the most important functions of the webpage. These include:
Statistics
This section of the forum can tell you everything you need to know about the worlds of Toadwater and Darktide.
The information contained here is Player Rankings, Tree and Tree Lord information, and Worker Statistics.
The Record's tab refers to records set by players such as Most Trees Planted, or Most Death Cap Mushrooms Found in One Crop.
myWhittle tracks what you do in Toadwater and will report your progress for you to moderate and track. It tracks how much players whittle, construct, make textiles, mine, plant/cut trees, and wash strawberries. It can be found by clicking Game Statistics > myWhittle, or visiting this page: My Whittle
This page tells the whittling levels for different items that some of the best whittlers in the game have produced.
Government
The government is the player appointed governing body of Toadwater. Currently it consists of three Viceroys who share power. They make decisions regarding Edicts and Taxes as well as serve as an intermediary between players and admins. A more in depth description of the government and its powers can be found in the Constitution. Current Viceroys are:
