Home of the housing bubble here.  I'm lucky to be renting from an individual who isn't trying to get rich off me, but everything else around here is going 1,200+ for two bedrooms (Which I have).  One bedrooms are starting at 900.

Try dealing with where I'm living, though! I know that rent is low around here, but there's no one around!!!
I was born in Baltimore, MD... 750k+ people... after I was nearly 11, my family moved to illinois... town with 80k+ people >.< big change... recently, my family moved to indiana... there's practically no one here, and anyone who is here is too introverted to wave back at you when you wave at them! Isolation is much worse than rent!


But at least I have a TW family 

You got off lucky, lol. We have 950 people in our town (in Illinois). You have to drive for at least an hour to get to any decent sized city with stores to shop. And yeah, no one waves back. Sad stuff! Waving doesn't use much energy.
