Goverment Grass

I like the idea of Goverment Grass, even though it limits me, I know it helps maintain a balance in the game.
The problem I have with it, is it wear the hell out of staffs.
Is it possible to make it wear staffs similar to regular grass?

Or maybe even similiar to roads?  Kind of a trade off for not being able to build your own roads through it.

I also think that government grass should have either road or fescue properties, a lot of people like to build roads or plant grass between fencing but with government grass it makes that impossible.

Forgive me for beating twisti to the rude comment, but people could just take out a layer of fencing and build a road beside their grass.

that only works if the people building fences are considerate to others wants...

hell, ide butt right up to it to deter raiders.  would you want your staff to degrade looking for a weak spot in a fenceline or getting back to the point your raid is taking place?

I agree, and the easiest solution is a gold solution even though it may not be practical.  I wouldn't have a road around my base, but if you are worried about staff wear then that would be a fix.

I do use roads along side the grass, or just walk in dirt. The reason for my post, is the whole point of the grass, is to limit the size of bases, and insure paths through a continent for people to move from newbie land.
Having the grass wear on staffs so hard, harms the very people it is intended to aid, that being the newbies just starting out.
I am not really complaining, I can easily adapt to the grass. I just thought that since its a new thing, its best to point out any shortcomings now, to aid in development.
