Didn't the thirst bar regenerate points over time prior to the drought, and are there any plans to restore this particualr function??

regenerate points? Thirst never did that to my knowledge. If you want your thirst back drink something. :/

I swear it used to regenerate, cos I'd stop playing in the evening with no thirst, and in the morning it would be full again.

Perhaps it only happened on cloud world.

no someone would buy a quench edict (coin version) and you didn't use it so when you logged in your thirst would be full.

BUT that seems buggy, you have to be logged in and take action during the edict for your thirst to stay at full after it, otherwise after the edict your thirst will revert back to it's original value.

Just my observations.

I have experienced that if you do not do something during the quench edict your bar will go into the negative, as in less than zero.
