Minecraft (game not unlike what Toadwater would look in 3D)

Go to http://www.minecraft.net/ and get a free version to see how it looks. Game is not currently released but even now, as an alpha release under constant development (weekly updates) and at price point of 10€ its selling out like hotcakes.

In essence, you go around a huge randomly generated world that has big pixelated graphic (player is basically two "pixels" high) and chop wood, dig ground, stone, place sand/dirt/stone elsewhere building houses, castles or huge bridges, mining iron, coal, diamond, crafting pickaxes, shovels, doors, rails, railcar, steam locomotive, battling zombies (there is a difficulty setting without them), spiders, big goo, skeletons that shoot arrows against whom you can fight with bow and arrow or gold/iron/diamond sword...

See why I say this is like Toadwater 3D?

Now, the problem (for me) is that they accept only paypal. Would someone like for me to donate 15$ worth of worker time or something to them in exchange for a Minecraft upgrade for me? I'm not a subscriber here so couldnt donate Toadkens directly :/

Last thing, its possible to setup Minecraft servers. If several people from here get hooked on Minecraft maybe we could setup our server to play on

I like it. I don't really take to playing on servers with others yet. The survival thing has opened some really weird role playing moments in my head. I caught myself creating a large lit pole on my house and the thought crossed my mind ," in case someone else is lost". Its really fun to fight the hordes of monsters and make my fortifications with the ultimate goal of a well lit glass biodome of safety. First on the list though is a mine field to harvest some piggies for me. BWAHAHAHA. Its also nice to know that nobody but the creeper's and spiders will destroy my hard work (or me that time i flooded my house).

I saw one destroy some ground once. I sure as hell didnt do it. It may have been a glitch or a bug but I don't trust the buggers.

To clarify, i was backing away quickly, heard a noise and some ground about 5 squares ahead of me went pop.  Have not seen it since but who knows >_<.
