so i got the axe from the toad and cut down a tree to get wood but when i tried to talk to him like he said..... but he just sais "woah.. keep that axe away from me"

Try clicking on him without an axe selected.  Click on your axe again, to deselect it.

thanks that helped ... just another question ... if my toadwater staff goes down to 1 or 0 am i able to move at all or will i move very slowly

Staffs only wear down to 1, and they get very slow then.  For completely the tutorial, you get a rewarded by improving your staff.

You get a free member staff (wears down .01 every 10 steps) at level 60 which is really easy to reach. Digging up balsam fir seeds and mass producing is the easiest way there for early levels.
