Title: IEA Edicts
Post by: Benalron on January 25, 2008, 10:05:33 pm
Please post what edicts you are interested in, and what you would be willing to donate towards one, this will more easily allow people to match up. Even if you can only pay a very little amount like 25mil or something please post here.

Once more organization is gained we will establish a treasury which you will be welcome to donate to. Rather than wait for the government to plan edicts we will take votes on edicts and only those who donated towards the IEA edict funds will be allowed to vote. Those who have donated more will have a stronger voice in the result of which edict will run, but we will strive to ensure we do not have the same edict every time, and that multiple voices are heard. Most simply I will look at who has donated what, and if the total of certain peoples donation are greater than the cost of the edict they desire, that edict will be purchased. This allows your money to go towards what you want, and offers real incentive to donate. Of course it is encouraged to interact with peers within the IEA to organize edicts also.

I will start off by saying I am currently willing to put forth 200 mil towards either Weaving or Humidity.

fine I guess I'll make a large donation then.

500 mil gold towards a new seed, and 500 mil gold towards other edicts...such as whittling, construction, weaving, cooking, and humidity...those are my favs.

Oh, and an additional 250 mil gold to you ben, since I still owe you.

Due to Mac's generous donation I will begin looking for the most efficient way to puzzle these funding forms together and maximize the amount of edicts we can purchase while benefiting the most people possible.

Please don't randomly donate to the treasury and expect me to either a) remember two weeks from now who donated how much for what or b) write it down. That's your guild leaders job, who also should handle the money, which you should donate to the guild. If you donate to the treasury, and you don't explicitly PM me after doing it, with an explicit wish of what the money is to be used for, I will likely NOT remember it. I'm not Rainman.

Next time, just answer when I ask you what a donation is for. I don't usually read this thread, and if you just donate without telling me what it's for, I can't really put it to whatever use you planned for it.
