Walking on ground hoards placed on bermuda grass costs 1 health and wears down my staff. Walking on statues placed on bermuda grass costs 0 health and does not appear to wear down my staff.
 Huh

Working as intended?

Anyone know what walking on bare bermuda grass does with regard to health and staff wear?

bare bermuda grass is supposed to not make you lose any health or staff power, and with every step, you should gain 10 speed... this may be changed since tuesday, though (I say tuesday because that was the last time I paid attention to that on my island)

EDIT: just went to my island... I see what you mean O.o
it was probably so that you don't want to use your island hoards too much

That is what I thought.

Has anyone planted flowers in bermuda grass yet? If so, does it cost health to step on flowers, flowers+statue, or flowers+hoard?

Wiki updated to reflect my cluelessness (flowers grow in EBP, not in grass, and hoards cannot be placed on flowers).

But I am still curious (Matt, if you are not too busy, heh) regarding the behavior of bermuda+hoard. Unless it has changed recently, it makes better sense to place island hoards on CRF to avoid staff wear. This combined with the trend of folks placing statues on flowers, and the limited space on islands, may be dooming the pretty bermuda grass to novelty status.
