While Spiders submission was correct, he has been disqualified for being too sexy.

Correct solutions have been submitted by the following people:

LumberJane
Kedirech
Flinnt
Kyrial (winner of the random draw)
Spider
Sos64
Farmer Billy-Bob-Joe
clatra

Additionally, the following people have solved the riddle, but were either not eligible for the draw or voluntarily asked not to be included in the draw:

[twisti] (I solved the original riddle, called Einstein's Riddle, then translated into Toadwater terms)
Benalron (he was high like hell and spelled Balsam Fir as Balkom Fir)
Dragoon (he solved the riddle in literally 5 minutes. really.)

Lastly, Zim Foamy Fan googled and as such got disqualified.

I hope I forgot nobody. Kyrial, you can get the 200 GRs from me if you contact me on IRC and meet me on SWI, or you can wait and see if I can get Dragoon to just deliver them to you. Whatever works best for you.

That specific puzzle may have been called Einstein's Riddle, but the puzzle follows a fairly standard format and you can buy entire books filled with puzzles like that.

I used to do them quite a lot, and I really love them, along with a number of other logic puzzles.

Congratulations to everyone who solved it, and for pure entertainment value, here is a screenshot of how I solved it in Excel:

I was telling my mom and dad about it today, and we were talking about those logic puzzle books too, Spider. We used to do them all the time as well. Smiley Thanks for the screenie. Smiley I did much the same thing, only on paper by hand lol. (Probably why it took me 2 hours to solve it, lol.

It's called Einsteins Riddle because Einstein invented that particular form of riddle. Also, the hints are taken directly from his original riddle, with just the 'variables' renamed.

I PM'd you, [twisti], and if that doesnt work I will set up IRC tomorrow evening.

Thanks everyone, I owe it all to the many hours of playing Inspector Parker, and convincing my boyfriend not to work the puzzle out himself, (he is a cooler).
