Do we have to pay $8.99 once to get that "never wear"-status permanently?  Or, if we don't pay the next month will it start wearing down?

I would assume that a gold SUBSCRIPTION must be maintained to keep one's staff at 150.00.

What would happen to a player's staff in the event that his gold subscription is cancelled? I do not know what Matthias' plans are.
