[rebel]

Some of you may have notice a few players have [rebel] in their names and wondered what it was and what it was all about.

What [rebel] is:

[rebel] is a group of people who support each other in every way possible. We go out of our way to make sure our members have things they need and always try and help them out in every way possible. Need some fences? Take some. Need a mallet? Take some. Need some seeds? Take some.

With [rebel] you have access to older players who have been playing on and off for a couple years if not more. Have a question? Ask it. Chances are someone has already asked it, knows the answer, and also knows how to explain it in a friendlier way. We try and keep it as friendly as possible as well as as entertaining as possible. Sure, sometimes debates or problems arise but just like any other group, we take care of it.

Does that sound like something you would like?

If so, shoot off Me or Jessy a PM.

Better yet, why not just hop into the [rebel] IRC channel, #[rebel] on the network irc.sorcery.net , and get to know the whole group?

Why "rebel" ? When I see "rebel" I think of the Confederacy and spoiled teenagers who don't really want to help, but want things their way. Ya know?
So, could you explain the reason for that name please?

Don't mind twisti, he hates all guilds.

The rebel name I believe actually came from Star Wars, but I'll let Epik explain it.

The [rebel] name was a holdover from the Invasion of the Clones that went on a couple of years back. arp still flew the [rebel] tags so it all started I guess when he said I can join. The name was just something that was already around.

What other guild do I hate ? The only other Toadwater guild I remember was DIE, and those guys were funny. By the way, nice dodging the issue of your guild leader stealing G2. Good to see that rebel is made up of quality members.

Wasn't it all agreed in IRC that that was due to miscommunication? I believe I even got an apology from you because of it.

Why don't we paste my whole post, to see and judge whether it was a serious post or, gasp!, a joke post:

1.Write a brief explanation of why you like Toadwater.

Lax, rarely enforced anti-cheating rules.

2.What can you contribute to the Guild? (i.e. help with items, money, helping members against raiders or whatever)

Nothing.

3.What are your goals for your character in TW?

Make #1 without lifting a finger.

4. Why do you want to join TWA?

I don't, this is just comic relief.

5. Do you like pretzels?

No.

6.How often do you play?

Never, I macro exclusively.

7.What is do you consider your best skills?

My Java programming skills.

8. Paste your skills and levels here.

Java professional, C/C++, Pascal, Delphi, ASM, Basic, VB, Perl profitient, network sniffing excellent.

9. Are you willing to help other members out if their time of need?

Hell no.

10. Please add any comments or remarks here.

TWA sucks.

Nice detective skills there, buddy. Also nice to see one more rebel trying to deceive people.

Edit: I highlighted the most relevant part.

You are doing your fair share of deceiving as well. The g2 debacle was a total miscommunication by both parties. Only reason we are still on g2 now is because of a deal we made with the current owner.

Right, Arya let you in without Rize' permission and you didn't know about it. These things can happen I suppose. Naturally, you left G2 as soon as you realized the mistake and gave it back to Rize, right ?

Rize had given it to Zim with the instructions that if any players on g2 came back, he was to help him out. Thats what we were told by Zim. This happened before it was discovered that there was a miscommunication. As soon as we found out, we made a deal with Zim and got just over a half of the continent.

Because you used to own half of G2, so naturally it was given back to you. I completely understand.
