Please press ALT+B in the client, and then check if once it freezes up you see any error log files being created. If you see any, please mail them to twisti@toadwater.com

Are you getting any error messages?

Are you running the very latest build:  toadwater.com/Development/jtwc-1.5.4-SNAPSHOT-201405302220.exe  or for mac/linux toadwater.com/Development/jtwc-1.5.4-SNAPSHOT-201405302220.jar
