12:37:31 pm Deadly Insane chuncked some Silica Sand into the furnace and hoped for the best. Somehow, nothing happened and the sand was wasted.

'chuncked', should be chunked.

...on second thought, shouldn't it be 'chucked'?

Chunking somthing into a furnace just dosen't sound right, on any level.

(799.02) 9.68:09 motcr received 370 whittling experince for being tree lord of Ponderosa Pine.

Please change 'experince' to 'experience', as this would correct this spelling error.

"Qoph1700 sat down a Rough Stone and is about to sharpen a knife!"

Sat should be set.

If it were describing only what the stone is doing, 'sat' would be correct (The stone sat on the ground for centuries).

Since it's a transitive verb in this case (dictionary.com calls it "used with object"), 'set' is correct.
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/set?s=t

Though looking at this again, I would actually rephrase it as "X sets down a Rough Stone, and is about to sharpen a knife"

Sorry, I can't help but proofread things.  People tend to pass me their writing to proofread because of it.

Then the first part of the sentence would be changed to present tense. However, it is describing that happened in the past, like all logs:

Brique planted a Golden Bamboo Shoot (Odds: 336.42%)
tizzy washed 1 Sun Fungus, now it's very shiny. Odds: (21.77%)
Andrew Wiggin finished fertilizing a field for Mayer

Whereas your suggestion, would be in the present:

Qoph1700 sets down a Rough Stone, and is about to sharpen a knife

This is the most boring thread I have ever read. But having got this far I have to agree that it should be set.

Sat is the past tense of to sit, not to set.

Or you could always put

"Qoph1700 put down a Rough Stone and is about to sharpen a knife!"

10:09:38 pm    Gloop constructed some a Level 20 Totem! (Odds: 3.33%)
6907 xp

This sentence just doesn't sound right.  Not the fact that Gloop made one of those but the way the sentence is structured...

That is all.
