Before we start to lay out our permanent base, can we be told if there is or will be a way to travel into a players base via water or do we not need to worry about fencing off water?

Some water can be walked on (if you look really close, you will see that there are small pebbles in that kind of water, we call it Fords). Others can not be and is not going to be. We understand the strategic importance of having "free walls" by settling on the coast.

The new map however is massive, and if you find a way to fence off ten continents worth of land with a tiny amount of fences, that is a bug and will be fixed. I think we made sure that can't happen in the TW2 map, but with so much land in such odd shapes it's hard to tell.
