Caught my very own hedgehog!

It doesnt seem to eat any CRF grass I've planted, it's still hungry. It ate one square of CRF, yay. Cheesy I cant cage it with a new cage, maybe let us cage our captured hedgehog to relocate and bring with us to parties? Grin The names they have on SWI doesnt stick after you cought one and released it, at least it didnt with mine. Now it has no name.

Also, they seem to be able to swim, at least in the moat around Toadee's house, be careful of where you put them down, they might swim away. Tongue

thanks for the pet. He seems to enjoy plenty of crf. He ate 9 fields of it overnight.

You shouldn't want to. That's what it lives off. On the contrary, you should give it a home with lots of CRF for it to eat, so it gets fat and healthy.

Well I would like to fence him off a larger area to play in. My plans are about 25 by 25 square.

Are there any problems with this plan?
How close would he like to stay by my side?

Just got the wife a puppy and that thing stays under her foot constantly. She can't walk to any room without him right behind her. So does my cute new hedgehog want to be within 3 squares from me or 5 or 10?

Is this another "linear" thing so the farther away he is the less boost?

Yes, it's "linear" like that. Ideally he's right next to you, although of course it'll be hard to keep him that close. 25x25 should be plenty.

Will we ever be able to name them, and also will we ever get logs to show we petted our pets?

Would be neat imo to say So n so was petting their furry little friend to show their love    or something precious like that.

All vanished names have been restored. Please let me know if you encounter any more Hedgehogs that have no names. Remember to pet your Hedgehog every now and then, or it will start feeling neglected and run away. Same goes for food: don't fence your Hedgehog in without grass to eat and leave for too long a time.

Not yet. The only way they'll ever die is after I add pet breeding. And even then they probably won't. They'll run away if they are left neglected or hungry for too long, though.
