If your talking tw1- you can get fench refresh credits from trading in pea pods

yellow worth more than green

if your playing tw2 then its better to just drop and replace them

also, if your just trying to sustain, i can give you some gold in tw1 and some grade 42s which should last you a while

Thanks for the offer Mayer Im ok in TW1 . It was TW2 I was talking about Ill do like you said and just let the fences fade and just replace them . It would be nice if you could make some kind a shake and make it less expensive to refresh fences oh well

The fences are a gold sink-not sure if something like that will happen.  There was a lot of discussion about the cost early in the tw2 begining and it was made pretty clear its not changing.  A few suggestions were to just replace them, the management exp is nice or to plant and tap a balsm fir tree or two for every fence you have.  Im pretty sure that covers the cost of the refresh.

Hello.

In hoping to help alleviate the costs of fence refreshing there is a new simple formula.  It costs FenceLevel^1.5 gold a day to refresh a fence.

Hello.

In hoping to help alleviate the costs of fence refreshing there is a new simple formula.  It costs FenceLevel^1.5 gold a day to refresh a fence.

Ok Just tried this out so I could report a real time example for all you math noobs. This translates into

level 13 fence stage 10 cost is 2842 gold.
level 21 fence stage 04 cost is 2534 gold.
level 20 fence stage 04 cost is 1958 gold.

Thanks. I'm sure this is a lot better than that 1000 gold Tnttoad was complaining about.
Guess the gold sink was not getting things done as it were.

I'm scared the ghost of Qill has been influencing Travis.

I find it hard to believe anyone could make out what tnttoad tried to say, on account of it being gibberish, but I doubt he was saying that all fences at all stages were costing 1000 gold to refresh, which you seem to have taken from his mysterious statement. In any case, I'm pretty sure fence refresh costs across the boards are now lower than they were last week.

But I'm sure Travis would be willing to change it back if you really wanted to.

The old formula was super crazy.

It had five different formulas depending on fence level and several other factors.  The goal was to simplify this and let people know.  Letting us know what stage a fence is at, doesn't help very much with how fence length works.  It's more important to know amount of days since last refresh and fence level.

The new formula can always be tweaked, just a start to make things more bearable.
