Toadwater Minecraft Server - Large Scale Cheating ?

I try to keep the Minecraft server as 'original' and 'survival' as possible, but certain things just wouldn't be possible or at least not realistic doing manually.

For example, it would be cool to have a city at the bottom of the ocean, but oceans aren't very deep - I'd like to use WorldEdit to carve a deep hole into one of the oceans for us to build in. Or another: I would like to add something like this tree to the game with a map editor:



What do you guys think ? Would you be alright with that ?
