The blue, wet stuff that you cannot walk on. At one time docks were able to be built on a coastal square, but were disabled and there are currently no plans to enable them again.         //       I accidentally walked on a square of water, then walked back on land  Cheesy

That only applies to a certain quadrant of the map, one you just so happen to be in.
