Toadwater is dead, long live Toadwater!

I swear, this weird little niche game is going to outlive us all. In an admittedly questionable move, I have taken over Toadwater effective immediately, bought us a new server and transferred the game (sorry for the downtimes). Barring intervention from Travis, this situation should last at the least until 2022, and we are looking into ways to extend that.

As for now, the game is back up, on a new, blazingly fast server, that is even routed to mobile phones! As with all these things, server moves sometimes introduce or reintroduce issues, and please do feel free to report them. Now that I am the de facto leader, I feel a renewed duty to actually fix bugs instead of ignoring them and passive aggressively suggesting that it's your own fault for doing something dumb (which it of course totally is).

As I am paying for the new server, I appreciate any donations and subscriptions. If you have existing subscriptions, you need to change them to me, joerg.stoever@gmail.com. A special shout out goes to Trojal, our resident troll, who single handedly paid for the new server and the first month of keeping it up.

That being said, while I do appreciate any of your help, please do not worry that I will shut down Toadwater if it doesn't make enough money. The server doesn't cost that much, and I do have a job now.

I have not yet set up any sort of automated donation handling, and I'm honestly unsure how Travis' way worked. Please do feel free to contact me about any unfilled donations (remember to send them to my address, not donations@toadwater.com, for now). The fastest ways to contact me are through the above email or through the chat, by simply saying "twisti" on the chat, it will notify me if I am anywhere near my PC.

To answer a few questions that came up:

* I will not add new content at this time, but I will do my best to fix bugs and help people with problems in TW2. I will do this in a much more limited way for TW1, and not at all for Darktide (sorry).
* Donations should only be sent to new_donations@toadwater.com. If you send your donations elsewhere, they will not go to me or to the servers upkeep.
